Matapuna Training Centre

Matapuna Training Centre, in Gisborne, is a PTE operated as a charity for 12-24 year olds needing foundation learning, and intensive literacy and numeracy. We offer qualifications at levels 1 and 2 on the NZQA framework, Alternative Education, Youth Guarantee, and programmes for the community. All classes are focused on improving foundation skills, literacy and numeracy, key competencies, and supporting youth to engage in education. We offer a holistic wrap-around support system for our students so that they can make the most of their educational opportunities.
