Giuliana Silveira has been in international education for over 25 years. She is currently a contractor who shares her time between 2 organisations: the International Tertiary Education New Zealand (ITENZ) as an international education consultant and the Latin America New Zealand Business Council (LANZBC) as their Chief Executive Officer.
At ITENZ, Giuliana is responsible for providing support with the international education strategy, keeping providers abreast of any new developments, organising professional development sessions, being the liaison person with Education New Zealand and leading the International Education Forum, one of ITENZ’s community of practice groups.
Giuliana really enjoys engaging with different stakeholders in the international education sector, championing the Private Training Establishments (PTE) sector and promoting New Zealand as a study destination.
Previously, Giuliana was the NZ Country Director for Kaplan International where she ran the operations for the English Language and Pathway divisions.
